Newton F Chalk

Newton F was born in 1831 in Maury, Tennessee, USA.¹ Newton F's father was William Chalk and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were William Chalk and Peggy Askew. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Whitfield, Henry A, William Roscoe, Thomas Anderson, Ira Ellis, Josiah Askew, John Wesley, James Anderson, Mary Ann, Martha A, Nancy, Sarah Ann and Catherine Jane. He was the thirteenth oldest of the fourteen children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Nepolian B, Stephen G, Luther B, Coley M, Louisa, Susan E and Josephine. He died at the age of 32 on January 13th, 1863 in Missouri, USA. He was buried in Missouri, USA.²²
