Thomas Anderson Chalk

Thomas Anderson was born in 1818 in Hertford, Perquimans, North Carolina, USA. Thomas Anderson's father was William Chalk and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were William Chalk and Peggy Askew. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Whitfield, Henry A, William Roscoe, Ira Ellis, Josiah Askew, John Wesley, James Anderson, Newton F, Mary Ann, Martha A, Nancy, Sarah Ann and Catherine Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Nepolian B, Stephen G, Luther B, Coley M, Louisa, Susan E and Josephine. He died at the age of 42 in 1860.
