William Roscoe Chalk

William Roscoe was born on August 28th, 1816 in Hertford, Perquimans, North Carolina, USA. William Roscoe's father was William Chalk and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were William Chalk and Peggy Askew. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Whitfield, Henry A, Thomas Anderson, Ira Ellis, Josiah Askew, John Wesley, James Anderson, Newton F, Mary Ann, Martha A, Nancy, Sarah Ann and Catherine Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Nepolian B, Stephen G, Luther B, Coley M, Louisa, Susan E and Josephine. He died at the age of 76 on March 4th, 1893 in Belton, Bell, Texas, USA.
